The one thing I don't like about winters is how much time we have to spend in doors. This can make things hard for kids especially....
Even though it was kind of cold, I decided to bundle JJ up in two hoodies and let him roam the backyard with our dog.... It was refreshing and he had a lot of fun

Messing around with Fabrics and natural light
My wife bought a bunch of fabric the other day to start taking pictures in our "studio" (which is basically the kitchen by the sliding door when we want it to be (tuns of natural light).
Also, one thing I learned about shooting pictures with fabric backgrounds, is that they turn out much better if the subject is significantly closer to you than the background (this way it kind of blurs out the fabric depending on your camera settings)
